Description

As a regional Finance Manager reporting to the Regional Finance Director, you'll also be a member of the Midlands management team. Responsible for providing timely management information to our Managing Director and Regional Finance Director, you'll provide leadership to the finance team, whilst ensuring all team members contribute to their full potential. Using your strategic and commercial understanding of the business and its environment to contribute effectively to business development decisions.

As Finance Manager you will also:

  • Lead and have involvement with: Management Accounts, Forecasting, Group, Analysis and Variances.
  • Guarantee effective controls are in place and working
  • Ensure the integrity of the financial ledgers
  • Interact closely with the local board of Directors

Profile

The successful candidate:

A qualified (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) accountant with relevant Post Qualified Experience

Take a 'hands on' approach

Lead a team of 3/4

A thorough approach and an eye for detail

Possess a proven ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise work in accordance with the demands of the business's internal reporting requirements

Able to manage a Finance team, you're a first-class, all-round communicator who's fully conversant with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
