Description

As a Payroll Officer based from the Farnham, Surrey office you will be responsible for:

Key member and lead for Payroll in a small accounts team supporting a quickly growing UK Group

  • The Payroll officer will be responsible for the payroll commitments for
  • Separate monthly payrolls for two different employee types c 700 employees currently
  • 4 weekly payroll of approx. 40
  • Fortnightly payroll of approx. 50
  • Admin monthly payrolls 70
  • Preparing and processing the payroll for various companies within the group from internal system and Sage Payroll.
  • BACS payments and submissions.
  • Ensuring that deadlines, policies and guidelines are adhered to.
  • Administration of pension deductions, company contributions and payments to include implementation of auto enrolment.
  • Liaising with all employees and line managers regarding payroll queries.
  • Ensuring RTI compliance.
  • Processing Starters and Leavers.
  • Year-end procedures.
  • Supported by Payroll Administrator to provide payroll data extracted from operating system, holiday pay, mileage, etc
  • Develop Payroll administrator so payroll covered during Payroll Officer's leave
  • Looking for ways to improve systems and communication, and able to implement these changes if agreed.
  • Other ad hoc tasks working with the Finance Director and Financial Controller including TUPE transfers and other acquisition related issues
  • Great opportunity for future development as the group expands - further 300 employees likely to be added to payroll in September/ October
  • Must be a driver with own car

Job Offer

Salary £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience, 20 days holiday, free parking onsite. Great opportunity for future development as the group expands
