Description
Prepare the monthly Management Accounts within 5 business days of the month end.
Prepare and monitor the annual budget. Communicate performance against this budget to the Directors and respective departmental heads (the "budget holders") on a monthly basis.Ensure compliance with tax legislation, including timely reporting and payment submissions to HMRC.Suggest and implement new processes and controls in order to ensure the effective and accurate recording of financial data.Monitor costs and implement cost savings strategies where appropriatePrepare the year end financials and be the first point of contact for the external auditors.Manage own workload and objectives.Responsible for the recruitment, assessment, training and management of the Accounts Payable team.Commitment to the Company's objectives, strategies and ethos which may result in stretching targets and require the need to work outside of office hoursWork closely with other departmental heads providing financial data and analysis as required.Undertake other ad-hoc projects as required

Part Qualified / FinalistAbility to communicate effectively
Ability to mutli-task, manage a conflicting workload and work under pressureExperience of Sage 1000 preferredAdvanced Excel
