This Assistant Management Accountant vacancy presents an ample opportunity to join a global logistics organisation based in Northern Derbyshire. This is a step on the ladder to Management Accounts and will see you supporting the Management Accountant in the majority of their duties.

Client Details

Our client is a consistently growing and developing global logistics organisation that has recently increased its workforce and scope through business acquisition. You will be joining a friendly and collaborative team primarily concerned with the Operations side of Finance. This will be situated in an open plan office with the wider finance team. There is free parking on site and easy access routes from both Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

Description

Your role and responsibilities will include:

• Variance analysis alongside the KPI's, with commentary and recommendations;
• Production of weekly management accounts pack for the Operations Stakeholders and Directors;
• Uploading of weekly journals;
• Weekly review of costings and implementation of improvements where possible;
• Liaising with Operations Key Stakeholders on a weekly basis.
• Adhoc finance duties where required.

Profile

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator across all departments of the business. You will have a competent knowledge and/or aptitude for management accounts, which you will then be able to convey to non-financial stakeholders. You will be able to work under pressure and keep to deadlines. You will ideally be studying towards ACCA or CIMA.
