An excellent opportunity to work as an Accountant for a large multinational organisation focussing on Accounts Payable (AP), Cash Forecasting and Bank Reconciliations. You will be supporting the ME and Caspian business based out of our offices in Dubai.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Posting of Vendor Invoices to the correct cost codes.
• Verify approval process on Invoices, ensure compliance prior to bookings.
• Process vendor payments in ERP and banking systems.
• Recording of Staff Expense reports and timely payments.
• Reconcile agents' commissions and make payments.
• Coordinate with Vendors and Agents to resolve issues.
• Reconcile Vendor Statements and review Aged Payables
• Bank Reconciliations.
• Monthly Cash Forecasting for payments.
• Posting of journal entries in General Ledger
• Month End reconciliation of Specific GL accounts
• Assist on Month end closing activities and reporting.
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Assist with other projects as needed
• Additional clerical responsibilities as needed and as assigned
