Manager to Senior Manager - Risk Control & Support for Private Banking

Responsibilities

• Provide supports to the Head of Private Banking regarding investment and securities (which cover shares, stocks, debentures, loan stocks, funds, bonds and notes), products and services, and to ensure that high service level is maintained.
• Provide support and assistance on operational issues to Relationship Manager to enable their provision of Banking Service to high net worth customer and also acts as a coordinator between Relationship Manager and operation department.
• Daily checking of the tape recorder log book to ensure daily monitoring of the recording system twice a day, submit tape recording log-book to department head for checking and approval.
• Coordinate with various departments on daily operational issues to enhance and smoothen the private banking services provided to customers.
• Assist to cultivate existing client relationship, provide professional delivery of wide-range of our bank products aiming at achieving customer satisfaction.
• Arrange sample checking of tape recording for transactions which are specified in the operation procedure manual of the department.
• Prepare and submit monthly report to internal control department.
• Monthly reconciliation of ATM Card, Pin, Access-code, Internet Banking Pin, Phone Banking Pin, Investment Pin, etc.
• Ad-hoc projects coordinator; such as HKMA reports and gap analysis​

Requirements

• Form 7 and above or equivalent qualification and working experience.
• 10 years banking experience or equivalent working experience.
• Knowledge of the general banking practices and laws including Securities & Futures Ordinance and Banking (Amendment) Ordinance 2002.
• Proper registration with assigned Wealth Management products.
• Self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure.
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
