My client is one of the largest fashion accessories manufacturer in the world. They have a unrivalled leadership in market share and their client portfolio compiles with a strong pool of returning clients as well as growing number of new clients all over the world. With HK being their group office and in order to ensure the smoothness in their operations, they are now looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their Group reporting team.

about the role

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager and working alongside a small team of Accountants, your core focus will be on the group consolidation and the preparation of the financial analysis and management reporting pack. As part of the group reporting team, you will have the chance to establish yourself and communicate closely with your accounting counterparts in the various regional offices all around the world. At the same time, you will also be assisting the APAC team (also in HK) on the full sets of accounts.

This is going to be a role which gives you excellent global and regional exposure, while developing your career in an all rounded finance and accounting role

skills and experience required

• A track record of 5+ years of finance and accounting experience at a GROUP level
• Solid group consolidations skills with the ability to take on analysis and reporting
• A strong teamworker with excellent work ethics
• Driven, adaptable and well-presented
• Fluency in English and Chinese, with prior experience in working closely with overseas offices
• Student / Associate member of CPA / ACCA
• Degree holder in relevant disciplines
