An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner to join a rapidly growing consultancy business based in central London.

This is a high growth, services business that is well backed, it has seen turnover double in the last few years with the business now being one of the sector leaders.

Description

My client has recently opened a new office in London, reflecting a growing client base. This is a new role and the business has an interim FD, so is looking for someone with the potential to grow with the business. The role of the Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner is to support the FD and the leadership team. The main objective of this role is to ensure the accurate maintenance and management of the financial accounts, to prepare key management information and to provide ad hoc support for use by the leadership team.

  • Preparation and reporting of monthly Management Information packs for the Board
  • Management of hours booking and reporting
  • Preparation, analysis and tracking of client profitability reports
  • Other ad hoc commercial analysis to support business improvement, growth and investment
  • Managing and updating cash flow
  • Annual budgets and quarterly forecasting updates
  • Statutory accounts preparation and completion
  • Managing tax returns (Vat, PAYE, Corp and Tax)
  • Preparation of customer credit control including invoicing, credit control and overdue management
  • Managing payroll activities including expenses, P11D, tax returns and pensions
  • Working closely with colleagues and the leadership team providing proactive support as and when needed.
  • Support the introduction of new systems and ways of working

    • Profile

    The successful candidate will have the following:

    • Qualified with either ACA/CIMA/ACCA
    • Strong academic background from a top university
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior leaders
    • Management Accounts experience "end-to-end" with P&L ownership
    • Experience within a fast-paced environment desirable

    Job Offer

    On offer for the successful candidate is a basic salary of between £45,000 & £50,000
