Badenoch & Clark are working with a well established, market leading business based North of Cambridge who are looking for an experienced Accountant to join their finance team.

Reporting into the Finance manager, you will be a pivotal member of the finance team, responsible for a mix of commercial, management & financial accounting duties across the board.

Responsibilities:
*Assist with preparing of monthly management accounts pack
*Prepare calculations for stock management (inc. costs, price variance, stock accruals, stock provisions, etc)
*Prepare monthly stock reports with appropriate commentary
*Liaise with Operations Director to present information and provide business insight to help run department effectively and ensure that major variances and trends are analysed and reported
*Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, including depreciation
*Provide monthly reports for the Repair Centre Manager showing P&L for the centres
*Support the bid team for new Repair Centre proposals
*Quarterly calculation of sales commissions payable to the Sales Team

Requirements:
*CIMA or ACCA Newly Qualified/Part-Qualified
*Proven experience of management reporting to agreed deadlines.
*Proficient use of all MS Office software and sound financial modelling skills.
*Knowledge of Microsoft AX Dynamics would be an advantage.
*Desire to learn and be innovative
*Professional and strong work ethic
*Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise own workload.
*Strong analytical skills and high level of attention to detail.
*Clear and effective communication skills, both written and oral, with ability to liaise with people at all levels.
*Good problem solving skills with the drive and enthusiasm to pursue to resolution.
*A willingness to identify ways in which to improve the business efficiencies.

This role will suit someone who can demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-moving business environment, has a flexible working approach and a pro-active 'can do' attitude.

This can be a fairly autonomous role so the successful candidate must be able to work on their own initiative and be self-motivated
