My Client are an accountancy practice based in the heart of Billericay. They are recruiting for a Trainee Accountant who is ideally either studying AAT or qualified AAT to join their dynamic, entrepreneurial accounts, team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone, dedicated, ambitious and who is wanting a career within finance as they are offering a fully supported training package towards a professional accounting qualification including time off for study and exams.

If you are successful, you will be joining a local, well-established accountancy practice that offers a full range of accountancy, tax and business advice services. You will be given the exposure to a wide range of clients across a variety of sectors as well as developing your knowledge and technical skills.

Day to day duties will consist of:-

• Working alongside trained accountants.
• Preparing accounts for sole traders, limited companies & partnerships.
• Utilising accounting software.
• Communicating with your team on any issues or findings.
• Develop and applying technical knowledge gained from studies and on the job experience.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with both clients and team.

This role will be most suited to someone who thrives on new challenges, delivery focused, enjoys accountability, has a 'can-do' attitude and is looking to improve their skills and competencies through self-development.
