Accounts Assistant required to join a thriving and well know Northampton based business for initially a 6 month contract. Applicants should ideally be AAT qualified or studying towards the qualification with good solid experience in both Purchase and sales ledger.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
·Coding and processing a high volume of supplier invoices quickly and accurately on a daily basis·Respond to emails and telephone enquiries with suppliers·Reconciliation of purchase ledger statements and the chasing of missing invoices and credit notes·Processing payment runs via BACS·Filing invoices, statements and customer receipts·Raising sales invoices/credit notes and assisting with credit control·Carrying out credit checks on new customers·Assisting in preparing ad-hoc financial reports and other data requests·Maintenance and reconciliation of all ledgers at month end.·Reduces debit balances on the purchase ledger·Prepares ad hoc analysis of accounts payables and receivables, as requiredApplicants MUST have good reconciliation skills and SAP experience combined with a good level of Excel and the desire to progress within a company.
