JOB VACANCY Customs Compliance Analyst ________ A vacancy has arisen for a Customs Compliance Analyst at Glanbia Business Services in Dungarvan. This is a permanent position and will report to the VAT Compliance Manager. Role Summary The role is to support the continued international expansion of Glanbia by providing customs compliance administrative services to all business units. In addition to the customs compliance element of this role, the successful applicant will also be required to provide support services to our wider finance function. Key Elements of the Role Support the businesses' objectives through the trade compliance administrative function for international sales from EMEA. Interacting with internal stakeholders such as customer services, supply chain and finance teams to determine customs documentation requirements for international sales. Interaction with external stakeholders such as freight forwarders, Government regulatory bodies and customers in the provision of documentation required for international trade. Responsibility for maintaining internal Customs documentation. Handling queries, providing advice and support with respect to Customs related issues. Assisting in ad-hoc duties for Finance and Customs teams where necessary. Requirements At least two years' experience in an accounting technician type role in a busy finance environment. Qualifications Certificate level in business, finance, accounting or similar qualification Skills & Experience Ideally previous experience within a customs focused/finance administrative role. Proficiency in PC skills (including Word, Excel) Proficiency with SAP would be an advantage Ability to work independently, to work to tight deadlines and to handle several tasks at once Competencies Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong attention to detail Enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative environment Are you someone who likes to make it happen, make it better and make it fun?
