We currently have an opportunity with our Business Payments Team for an Account Officer - Underwriter Payments. The focus of this role is to process the underwriter payments as well as the monthly processing of OMP, Schemes, Taxes and HBCF payments. Key responsibilities include Maximising holding duration of client / underwriter monies whilst ensuring clients/underwriters are paid in full within terms Monitoring email inbox and allocation of emails Handing queries from brokers and agents whilst maintaining and building good relationships Liaise with internal and external underwriters to resolve any outstanding underwrite enquiries Maintain adherence to underwriter/account payable policies and goals Maintain filing system Assist others in team with surplus processing as directed Other task as directed by the Team Leader What are we looking for? Demonstrated experience and understanding of Accounts Payable Experience and understanding of insurance in particular underwriter payments highly desirabl High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent time management Strong team player with willingness to support others Sound computer skills Good analytical skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders What will we offer?
