An excellent opportunity has arisen within a well known business in Mid-Kent who are recruiting for an experienced and talented Financial Planning Manager.

My client are a financial services organisation who are keen to bolster their finance team with a commercially orientated accountant.

Description

The role will include but not be limited to the following:

• Manages preparation and publication of management information

• Engages Senior Management in long range strategic planning to ensure sound understanding of the Group direction

• Recommends planning process changes to align with business changes

• Assesses and challenges achievability of business targets through understanding of all risks & opportunities

• Analyses historic performance trends & business impact to enhance future forecasts and provide insight to the Business

Identify, develop and provide key insights to the Business.

• Develop and implement improved performance reporting and Key Indicators to inform Senior Management across the business

• Drives business improvement through financial insight, analysis and communication to senior directors

• Uses in-depth understanding of the business model and the interdependencies to influence decision making across the business

• Presents plans and analysis to the Senior Management team

• Consult with others in the business to give advice on significant financial decisions and the impact on the Business plan

Develops investment appraisal process

• Evaluates potential business initiatives and investment proposals prepared by others

• Develops financial evaluation models

• Evaluates performance of individual investments after completion, identifying differences between expected and actual results

Profile

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Degree educated
• Highly numerate
• Charismatic
• Excellent communication skills

Job Offer

• £55,000 - £65,000
• 25 days annual leave
