We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Indirect Cost Business Partner, RBWM Europe.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide support for all key cost governance meetings; e.g. Regional RBWM Exco, HSBC Bank plc - UK Bank / Retail bank (HBEU) Exco, Business Performance Reviews (BPRs), Global RBWM Exco, Insourced Supplier meetings
  • Ensure that the underlying drivers of indirect costs in RBWM are identified and understood by key decision makers, allowing quicker and better informed cost allocation & investment decisions to be made
  • Conduct robust, timely and transparent communication of indirect cost performance to Finance and Business leads including outlook and trends
  • Proactively collaborate with HSBC Technology and Services (HTS) and Global Functions, using analysis and modelling to support joint productivity / efficiency challenges
  • Manage relationship with Commercial Banking (CMB) in respect of intra-global business recharges and recoveries
  • Provide insight into the intercompany recharges and provide monthly forecast updates and annual Annual Operating Plan (AOP)

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Experience working in relevant environment/s; e.g. Banking/ finance
  • Role relevant qualifications; e.g. Chartered Institute of Management Accountants ((not HSBC specific) (CIMA)), Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
  • Set and achieved challenging short, medium and long term goals which exceeded the standards in their field
  • Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered
