On behalf of a business in the centre of Reading I am recruiting for a new part-qualified Financial Accountant to join their expanding finance team.
Client Details
This organisation is experiencing a period of sustained growth and need an extra pair of hands in their finance team as a result.
Description
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the following duties:
- Working with colleagues to prepare and analyse budgets and forecasts
- Preparation of financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS
- Assisting junior member of staff with their work
- Preparation of supplier invoice payment runs
- Assisting with the preparation and posting of journals
- Preparation of VAT returns and EC sales lists
Profile
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA and actively studying towards completion
- Proven financial accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Offer
This position offers a competitive salary of between £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience along with an excellent benefits package including full study support towards CIMA or ACCA.
