My Client are a top Tier Law Firm based in Dublin City Center. Currently they are looking for a talented Senior Financial Accountant. The successful candidate will have 3 direct reports and will be reporting to the Financial Controller. Core Responsibilities: Accounts Payable: Recommend opportunities to further develop and implement appropriate controls in accounts payable. Routine audit of all transactions. Maintain controls and review where necessary. Monthly Management Accounts: Preparation of the monthly management accounts and responsible for month end balance sheet reconciliation's. Variance analysis of actual to budget. Preparation of expense budgets and forecasts. Preparation of various monthly management reports. Financial Reporting: Responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts for a variety of entities. Assist with the organisations Irish, UK and New York tax computations. Assist with the annual audit process. Compliance Work closely with the Compliance Director to assist in all areas of the risk management and compliance including: Ensuring that the firm is acting in accordance with best-in-class international standards, and is demonstrably compliant. Compliance with Solicitors' Regulations including Client monies Monitoring the management of any conflicts that arise Requirements: Ideal candidate will be a qualified ACCA or ACA Accountant with a minimum of 4 years PQE with proven experience in a fast paced working environment. Will be a confident self-starter with ability to work on own initiative. Previous financial and management accounting experience is required with strong accounts preparation experience. Ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Team player with ability to communicate effectively.
