Asia Pacific Human Resources Finance & Business Manager, Associate / Vice President
Reporting to the APAC Human Resources Business Manager, the successful applicant will be an energetic individual with a strong financial and reporting background, capable of multi-tasking and analytically reviewing processes to identify improvements, with good time management, communication and presentation skills. This is a demanding role and requires a talented individual that is able to handle a heavy workload and partner well with other departments in a collaborative way. The primary role of this position is to assist the Business Manager in providing senior management with pertinent and timely analysis of the financial performance and key performance metrics of Asia Pacific HR for all Lines of Businesses in the region. This role will also provide dedicated financial and business advisory support to the HR Executive for Asia Pacific and the HR Global Business Manager, and manage the monthly Planning, Reporting & Analysis (PRA) process including reporting, budgeting, forecasting and related tasks. Responsibilities include:
- Performance reporting & analysis for HR which includes all related monthly and periodic performance reports, monthly forecasting, budgeting, regional reporting, FX analysis, allocations & ad-hoc request
- Expense Management which includes invoice process and approval management (including advance notifications), tracking risks to budget and expenses, managing the monthly closing process (including journals), year-end accruals process and indirect allocations review
- Support the APAC HR Business Manager in driving regional priorities, preparing strategy documents and headcount oversight and reporting, managing hierarchy and cost centers and in organizing other HR initiatives such as townhalls and offsites
- Coordinate information sharing, best practices and business-specific updates with other regional HR teams
- Planning and reporting analysis and support for HR Country and Functional Lead
- High level of interaction with Asia-Pacific HR Executives and global finance teams
- Bachelor degree holder in finance, accounting or relevant discipline with professional qualification
- Minimum 6 years' relevant working experience, preferably in a multinational environment
- Experience in banking or the financial services sector advantageous
- Proven skills in financial analysis and reporting
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven track record of dealing with and managing expectations of senior management
- Ability to deal with multiple tasks and requests in a fast paced and evolving environment, coupled with prioritization and delivery
- Ability to interact and deal with all levels of personnel
- Ability to see the bigger picture while understanding the detail, ability to provide concise direction and analytics
- A good team player but able to work independently
- Experienced user of Microsoft applications - Advanced Excel, PowerPoint
- Previous experience with JPMC financial systems a plus
