The business is looking to recruit a fully hands-on Commercial Accountant/ Finance Analyst, reporting to the Group Project Finance team
Description
Commercial Accountant/ Finance Analyst responsibilities and duties;
- Review and assisting preparation of commercial project accounting
- Supporting the Group Project Accountant
- Assisting with project accounting to support month end closing
- Assisting in preparing forecasting and budgeting tools
- Assisting in control and tracking of stock management and value
- Assisting in preparation of commercial reports for management and US Corporate head office
- Assisting in developing key input for cash flow forecasting
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required
Profile
Commercial Accountant/ Finance Analyst experience, attitude and skill set desired;
- Part qualified or finalist stage studier of ACCA/CIMA, qualified by experience is also considered for someone with the right attitude and experience
- Highly numeric and commercial with strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience of long term project accounting useful, not essential
- Exposure of working in a group setting
- Advanced level spreadsheet skills (Excel) and PC literacy
- Strong written reporting skills
- Confident communication skills at all levels
- Strong commercial acumen
- Ability to work under pressure accurately and to meet deadlines
- A flexible team player
