Financial Controller

To monitor and improve the implementation of finance department's processes and controls to ensure the proper implementation and achievement of required objectives of such processes and controls in order to ensure high financial standards, minimized financial risks, accurate and reliable financial transactions within the corporate policies, procedures, auditors requirements and the governmental regulations
1) Assist Finance Director in reviewing business processes with business managers, to identify actual /potential weaknesses in the process
2)  Work with the business managers and Finance Director to identify processes which are not cost effective with a view to reduce costs
3) Work with the Finance Director on projects that will lead to overall corporate efficiency
4) Assist operations team in the identification for cost reductions and operational improvements
5) Perform periodic visits to the regional finance departments, and Company branches through the Kingdom to ensure proper implementation of finance policies and procedures, and prepare related visits reports with observations and recommendations
6) Monitor internal processes of the finance and other operational departments, recommendation of changes to improve operations (if required )
7)Contribution in improvement of financial management and controls by evaluating and remodelling financial systems and ensures their compliance with Company's objectives
8) Initiation of any new required financial policies and procedures for development and creation, and any required improvements in Autoline (Kerridge ) and accounting system to improve internal control
9) Coordinate and act as the focal point of contact between the company and internal auditors with regards to observations and action plan
10)  Handle Zakat and Tax issues for company, and submission of required Zakat and Withholding Tax in due time
11)  Coordination and follow up with Zakat and Tax consultants for any related issues and finalization of Zakat assessments for prior years
