Description

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Ensuring that the consolidation of the Group's financial results, budgets and forecasts are accurately produced, on time and in accordance with Group accounting policies

• Accurately and efficiently consolidating the regular weekly, monthly and quarterly management information reports

• Ensuring accurate and timely reporting to the Group Board and external stakeholders such as the Group's lenders and the UK Pension Trustee

• Supporting Group Management and the businesses by providing ad hoc management information

• Helping to ensure that a strong control environment is in operation at each business through Internal Audit visits

• Providing temporary on-site financial support for businesses as and when required

• Supporting the Group Finance team with the aim of achieving an effective and "clean" annual external audit

• Ensuring full compliance with relevant statutory requirements such as Office of National Statistic returns.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Proven production and consolidation of monthly management accounts
• Production of statutory accounts
• Highly competent in Excel
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified or Qualified By Experience
