Finance Manager

My client are a strongly branded FMCG SME in Central London. They produce an excellent, high quality product range to a broad client range across the UK including up-market restaurants. They turnover approximately £15m per annum and are growing YOY.

Client Details

The business has received successful investment and therefore are planning on growing their TO by up to 10% per annum and expand into additional markets within the UK. This position reports into the Director of the business and will the number 1 in the business from a financial point of view.

Description

- Preparation of management accounts

- Oversee the production of weekly Bank Reconciliations.

- Development and maintenance of precedures and documentation.

- Undertake ad-hoc projects and identify process improvements when they arise.

- VAT returns

- Assisting with the statutory accounts

- Management of finance function including two direct reports.

- Forecasting/budgeting ownership

- Business partnering with the wider division and non-financial stakeholders

Profile

We are looking for a strong, all round, qualified accountant, with an independent, proactive approach to challenges. The successful candidate should be strong with technical accounting but also capable of handling challenging commercial work of which the role is largely comprised.

Experience with management accounting and advanced Excel skills are essential together.
