The primary reporting line is to the Credit Control Manager. The job holder is also required to follow the group strategies and procedures. The job holder will liaise with all levels of employees and management throughout the business. They will be required to communicate with customers via phone and email

Client Details


The post holder will assist in the day to day running of the sales ledger department and will help to promote a good working relationship between our customers, branch staff and the rest of the finance team.

Description


1. To input cash receipts onto the ledger on a daily basis and meet cash posting deadlines.

2. To accurately allocate cash receipts from customers.


3. To raise customer invoices on a daily basis and ensure these are posted correctly onto the ledger.


4. To resolve queries raised by colleagues/customers.

5. General credit control duties, including monthly statement circulation.

Good telephone manner.

Able to meet deadlines.

Data inputting accuracy.

Positive attitude to work.

Good Excel skills

Ideally studying towards AAT

Job Offer

Basic salary of £17000 with AAT study support
