This is a fantastic new financial accounting opportunity. The opportunity is responsible for the accounting for 15 entities within the EMEA region. My client are looking for a technically strong candidate, with a strong attitude, and an ability to be proactive with challenging financial problems. Description
- Month end preparation and reporting
- Maintenance of database for price referencing and volume performance
- Management of the Balance Sheet
- Interpersonal skills required for interaction with shared service, for AP, AR and Bank.
- In addition to monthly processes there is the need to consolidate the quarterly forecast process, and the annual plan
- Ad hoc requests from regional Manager, Director , and Europe Finance Director
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial accounts with commentary for the monthly & YTD financial results against prior year & plan / forecast. Follow up of any trends or variances that could impact the full year plan / forecast. Recommend solutions to impact negative trends and track implementation.

- Month end accounting for distributor markets including SAP Reporting
- Forecast consolidation and reporting for region including forecast load process in SAP
- Balance sheet
- Monthly reconciliations and review of all balance sheet accounts for distributor markets
- Interaction with PWH in country
- Management of receivables in country via shared service
- Process and controls
- Development a model to track quarterly spend by country
- Ensure alignment to procedures by local units
- Build and maintain effective relationships within the company at local and international levels to secure required support and mutual exchange of essential business information.
- Participate in and provide support for management meetings and business reviews
Profile
The candidate must be an experienced, qualified accountant with at least 3 years post qualified experience. They have to be able to handle a challenging workload, be able to liaise with non-finance stakeholders, engage in audit interaction and understand challenging financial problems. SOX experience and Advanced Excel with Macro understanding would be a plus.
Job Offer
