FP&A Analyst

As an Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring all external and internal reporting commitments for advertising and promotions commitments are met. You will need to understand and explain variances vs. budget and estimates and liaise with the Commercial team to ensure they have all information needed to understand their YTD spend vs. budget/estimates.

Other key responsibilities:

• Responsible for accurate and timing of the trade advertising & promotional (A&P) reporting for monthly / reforecast / budget / strategic plan purposes;

• Liaise with the Commercial team to update and maintain trade A&P promotional calendars and customer support with the latest commitments;

• Explain key variances for full Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) perimeter by market / customer / brand vs. Budget, last year and latest estimates to the business;

• Trade A&P Expenditure: ensure accruals are booked timely and accurately for the monthly reporting for all A&P;

• Provide accurate and timely information to the Commercial team monthly and ad hoc as requested;

• Ensure SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) are maintained and developed when processes change;

• Ensure that the IFRS split is accurate for Group reporting purposes;

• Perform balance sheet account reconciliation / analysis monthly and identify under / over accruals;

• Analyse profitability of key promotions and provide feedback to the business;

• Work with the Business Intelligence Analyst and Senior Business Analyst on the implementation of tools to measure A&P efficiency;

• Half year and year end requirements (for example provide backups for auditors);

• Ad hoc duties and Group projects.
