Group Financial Accountant

The purpose of the role is the following:

• Consolidation of Group consolidated management accounts, budgets, forecasts and statutory accounts.

• Production of other Group financial accounting information.

My client is high growth, reputable Retail brand based in central Bath.

Description

• Preparation of Group consolidated management accounts, budgets, forecasts and statutory accounts, as well as all ancillary information, in line with agreed deadlines.

• The collection of Group financial accounting information outside of the Group's territory reporting entities e.g. Divisional P&L and B/Sht., Category sales/margin and Contribution analysis.

• As appropriate, liaise with Subsidiary Offices and Trading Finance Managers for information to enable this to take place and with the Group Financial Controller and Group Chief Financial Officer as to accuracy, difficulties, issues, etc.

• Assisting the Group FC as required in terms of acquiring and consolidating data from Subsidiary Offices and Trading Finance Managers.

• Support Trading Finance Managers as appropriate.

• Assist and manage in the preparation and roll out of other group financial KPI's as they develop.

• Prime liaison point for Subsidiary Offices and to ensure collation of information for Group auditors.

• Day-to-day Group Treasury Management.

• Preparation of cash flow forecasts (short-term and long-term).

• Adhoc reporting / analysis as required by the Group FC and Group CFO.

Profile

We are looking for a Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with a positive attitude and a proven ability in Group financial accounting. Liaising with senior stakeholder is a key part of this role so we whilst we are looking for a diligent and highly technically capable Financial Accountant, we also need someone who can Business Partner and explain financial issues and challenges to non-finance personnel.

Job Offer

c. £45,000 + benefits for a period of fixed-term contract of 12 months
