Our client protect the futures of millions of people in the UK.

Thanks to them those millions know their future is secure because if their employer goes bust, they'll step in to make sure their retirement savings aren't lost. In fact, hundreds of thousands of people already rely on them. So they're not modest, they know their worth. But they also know yours.

They're looking for a passionate internal audit associate to join their team.

They're building a team and they'd like you to join! Our client are continually looking at how they can refine their processes and how they manage their risks to ensure they provide excellent services to all their stakeholders. This means that they are now looking to build their own internal audit department and they're keen to talk to candidates with experience of internal audit who want to help them establish, communicate and embed best practice.

As you'd expect, They're looking for someone with rigorous attention to detail and an analytical approach to processes but most importantly, they need someone who can take a pragmatic and business focused approach. They don't want someone who thinks audit is just about ticking boxes - they know it's about a fundamental appreciation of their business and how they deliver their strategic objectives. You will be responsible for the delivery of risk-based internal audit reviews across all areas of the organisation and for planning, fieldwork and reporting the reviews as well as for tracking the implementation of agreed actions. You will review the effectiveness of risk management and controls and provide recommendations for improvement. In performing your work, you will develop a deep understanding of the organisation's risks, processes, controls and risk culture and you will develop strong working relationships with all levels of management.

You will be able to demonstrate a successful history of stakeholder management and how you have engaged and enrolled others to your way of thinking. In return, they can offer you ample support to learn a variety of new skills within a vibrant and dynamic environment. They offer a competitive salary and benefits for the role and are dedicated to supporting the ongoing development of their employees.

Sound like you? Apply now.

Now is a really exciting time for our client. They've got big plans for 2017, and beyond, and they'd love you to join them.

Perks of the job

In return for your skills, experience and commitment they'll give you a challenging role in a dynamic business where you'll get the support you need to develop your career in a vibrant environment. And of course, you'll also get a competitive rewards package.

Our client is proud to be registered as a Disability Confident Employer. If you have a disability and meet the essential criteria for this role you will be guaranteed an interview.

They are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all sections of the community.

No agencies please.
