Senior Accountant

A rare opportunity has arisen for a qualified Accountant to take the next step up in career. Due to major growth in the last 12-24 months, our client, a Global Insurer, now requires an accountant to join their Dublin team.  They have targetted exponential growth over the next 2 years and are expanding rapidly. The roleholder will report directly to the CFO and assist in the financial management of the above Company to include: Preparation of annual Statutory financial reporting Assist with tax & VAT reporting and filings Assisting with SII reporting and documentation, quarterly and annually Preparation of quarterly MI financial results for presentation to the board of directors Monitor internal financial controls Provide data for audit requests and liaise with internal and external auditors Review monthly expense variance reports Assist with annual planning process. Review month end insurance close premium reports for accuracy Reconciliation of General Ledger accounts Banking and treasury management You will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience gained in an Insurer, Reinsurer or Captive.
