Page Personnel are currently recruiting a Management Accountant for a prestigious, global FMCG brand with a major head office based in central Harrogate.

They are currently searching for a management accountant to join the brilliant finance team based in Harrogate City Centre.

Description

As a Management Accountant your duties will included, however are not limited to: Reviewing financial performance on a monthly basis with several cost centre managers, ensuring costs are in line with expectations and providing maximum value to the organisation, Supporting the production of forecasts, budgets and long term financial plans for the Central Services functions, Producing various monthly reconciliations for key accounts, Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register and associated Capital expenditure processes, Supporting the year end audit, Providing ad-hoc financial support to the business, Ensuring that all finance policies and procedures are fit for purpose and legally compliant, Contributing to project teams / working groups to facilitate change and improvements within the organisation.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Have strong management accounts knowledge
• Be studying towards an accounting qualification
• Have excellent excel skills
• Be an effective communicator
• Have strong reporting and presenting skills
