Page Personnel are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join a global manufacturing business in Bredbury, Stockport.

Client Details

A specialist in its field, with a great office atmosphere, are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.

Description

The Accounts Assistant will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for assisting the finance team, as well as taking on other administrative duties.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Purchase ledger
  • Sales ledger
  • Month end duties
  • Audit, tax and budget preparation assistance
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Other ad hoc duties

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Have recently worked in an Accounts Assistant role - ESSENTIAL
  • Have strong communication skills - ESSENTIAL
  • Have studied or be studying an AAT qualification - DESIRABLE
  • Have strong double entry knowledge - DESIRABLE

Job Offer

Up to £22,000 salary + on site parking + flexible working hours + potential for foreign travel + other excellent benefits
