An opportunity has come up for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a team of 5 in a busy retail environment as part of the wider finance team. You will need to have great communication skills, previous experience of working in a retail organisation and have great attention to detail.

Client Details

This retail client focuses on high-end, quality womenswear and homewares as well as luxury fragrances and kids clothes. They are located in Kensington so you will need to be able to commute easily to West London. The offices have a fun atmosphere with a strong focus on their people, so the benefits offered are great including some discounts on their products!

Description

The role will be focused on:

  • Processing invoices (matching, batching, coding)
  • Following up on unpaid overdue invoices
  • Checking employee expenses to receipts
  • Processing the expenses according to company policies
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Liaising with suppliers and dealing with queries to resolve issues
  • Supporting Accounts Payable Manager and the team with other ad hoc duties
  • Administrative duties including filing, AP inbox and processing/filing invoices

Profile

To be successful in this role:

  • You will need a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience of Navision or a similar accounting software
  • Ability to talk to and build relationships with colleagues and suppliers

Job Offer

Temporary position working as an Accounts Payable Clerk for 4-5 months reporting into the AP Manager and working in a team of 5.

You will be paid £11 to £15 per hour dependent on your experience and there is potential for this to turn into a permanent role if you successfully complete the temporary assignment.
