Tax Specialist

Summary of Position Working closely with the senior tax planning director and manager, the tax specialist will get involved in a wide range of projects from a European/ EMEA perspective. This is a tax planning focused role so will be of interest to tax specialists looking for a diverse role with commercial scope. A global organization, the group has ambitious plans to almost double it's turnover in the next 5 years and as such will be undergoing further acquisitions and expansions into emerging markets. As tax specialist you will work closely with the business and play a big part in these growth plans and as such this opportunity offers a truly commercially focused role. Some responsibilities include: Supporting the tax, finance and legal teams across the business on legal and business structures, ensuring they are tax efficient Assist in the tax planning opportunities to reduce the groups global tax burden Assist on advising on group acquisitions, mergers and refinancing projects Play an active role in developing business in emerging markets Develop relationships with local and international tax advisors The person: This is an ideal opportunity for a tax senior/consultant or assistant tax manager with a corporate tax background.
