Commercial Accountant

JOB TITLE: COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTANT / FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT THE COMPANY Our client is a leading technology firm that has operations in South Dublin. They have a newly created role for a Commercial Accountant that reports directly into the Head of Finance in Ireland. THE ROLE The role will also offer suitable candidates exposure to working in a large group and have access to a small tight Senior Management team that is based out of Dublin. Key responsibilities will include: Review monthly P&L Create management accounts, weekly performance reporting and all other business performance tracking; Responsible for tracking against plan and the analysis of risks and opportunities Responsible for the accurate the timely preparation of monthly management accounts and various forecasts and budgets, as they are required Ownership of the balance sheet reconciliations Input to the annual Budgeting and Forecasting process Assist with the consolidation of annual plans and forecast packs Managing local tax compliance and ensure the company adheres to local regulations Capex reporting Influence behaviours of key decision makers Ad hoc projects THE PERSON To be considered for this role you will need the following experience and qualifications: Qualifications Fully qualified with a recognised accounting qualification 1 - 3 years' experience within a fast-paced finance team Experience with Revenue Reporting and Cost Centre support would be ideal Soft Skills Ambitious Excellent communication and influencing skills Good attention to detail KEYS: Commercial Accountant, Financial Accountant, Management Accountant, Recently qualified Accountant, Commercial Analyst, Financial Analyst, Finance Manager, FP&A Analyst
