Finance Manager

The Finance Manager will be heavily involved in the day to day financial operations and controls, whilst also providing support for the growth of the business.

My client is a multinational transportation brand, with an excellent reputation on the job market, with premises based in North Lanarkshire.

Description

The successful Finance Manager will oversee day to day sales, purchasing, invoicing, payroll functions and all relating records. Complete month end trading process and support commercial manager in forecasting

-Preparing management information and reconciling to the accounting system on time for month end trading

-Production and management of weekly quicks

-Reconciliation of quicks to trading and trading variance analysis to forecast

-Production and review of budgets and forecast

-Ensure effective process and controls are maintained at all levels of the business and deadlines met

-Provide site management and operations with proactive info and recommendations

-Oversee day to day processing of PO's, invoices and payroll

-Continous review and improvement of all processes

-Continous review and management of customer debt

-Completion of BSR's, OBR's and SACL's on a monthly basis

-Management of cost down initiatives

-Management and development of 1 direct report

Profile

The successful Finance Manager will likely have the following profile;

-ACCA/ CIMA qualified/ part qualified, or ability to prove qualification through experience

-Proficient IT Skills

-Strong Excel Skills

-Prior working knowledge of Oracle

-Team orientated invidual

-Ability to build and develop strong working relationships with senior managers both internally and externally

-Transport industry background preferred but not essential

Job Offer

My client is willing to offer a salary ranging from £32,500 to £35,000, plus a 10% bonus, in addition to a generous benefits package.
