1. In charge and accountable for all the functions in the accounts department from the stage of accurate data entry, day to day cash management and control of bank and treasury management functions.
2. Monitor very closely on a daily basis the bank balances on line and provide cash flow status to CEO with regard to fund requirements at least a week in advance after taking into consideration the PDC's issued for all the operative bank accounts for all the companies within the group. Also take into consideration the cash inflows and collections wherever possible.
3. Detailed Review of the existing systems and suggest improvements in the best interests of the company.
4. Ensure clear allocation of job responsibilities, so that all the staff in the accounts department are aware of what is expected of them.
5. Provide training and counseling to accounts staff as and when required, in order to ensure that their performance is optimum.
6. Establish accounting systems and policies in order to ensure accurate and timely data entry. This would help to generate monthly report, which are more reliable.
7. Ensure the day to day transactions (duly verified and approved) of all the companies in the group, are entered on a regular basis in order to facilitate real time information for the Management, from the Financial Accounting package, tally.
8. Timely submission of ad-hoc reports and tasks as requested by CEO from time to time.
9. Responsible for Generation of P&L and Balance sheet along with relevant schedules on a monthly basis, before 10th of the subsequent month for review of CEO.
10. Responsible for the conduct of year end audit and the release of final draft of the audited financials for review of CEO.
11. Ensure year end review and renewal of working capital, term loan and other banking facilities, for all the companies in the Group.
12. Ensure renewal of all kinds of annual and semi annual contracts as applicable, including insurance cover and various other policies.
