Finance & Treasury Accountant - 12 month contract

Description

The main responsibilities within this vacancy are:

Financial Accounting

• Preparation of annual reporting to IFRS and maintaining these records to audit standard
• Full responsibility for the balance sheet reconciliations and the monthly consolidations
• Reviewing the subsidiary accounts
• Stock reconciliations and analysis
• Responsibility for fully adhering to the month end timetable

Treasury

• Manage the cash flow forecast and foreign currency
• Improve forecast accuracy
• Manage the covenant forecast and inter-company loan portfolio
• Arranging and managing the treasury meetings

Financial Planning

• Developing the accuracy of the balance sheet and cash flow forecasting through analysis of performance
• Making recommendations on cash flow opportunities in the business
• Ensuring that working capital reporting is accurate and the capital targets are understood
• Produce management reports
• Responsibility for stock forecasting

This position would also be supporting the senior finance team with investor analysis at key reporting periods, as well as assisting with ad-hoc projects that need completing depending on the business needs.

Profile

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• A recognised finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Ability to to show good initiative
• Advanced Excel skills
