The organisation I am working with is growing rapidly through both organic growth, and through acquisitions. Because of this the Finance Department is undergoing a period of change to improve reporting, controls and speed up reporting. These changes will support the foundations needed for the Groups plans.

The business is growing rapidly through both organic growth and acquisitions and because of this the Finance Department is undergoing a period of change to improve reporting and controls. Therefore are looking to expand the department and have created this opportunity.

Description

The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for:

•  Managing a team of junior finance associates, developing their skills and driving efficiency
•  Helping implement automated processes to improve the efficiency of the businesses financial reporting - monthly board packs, statutory and regulatory.
•  Building robust processes and controls that can deal with the ambitious growth plans of the Group
•  Working with the Treasury Operations Manager, improve reporting to the Board and wider business
•  Ensuring a smooth audit for the Group
•  Working with external advisers, managing basic tax processes for Corporation Tax and VAT.
•  Dealing with ad-hoc requests and support
