Reporting into the Finance Manager, the Senior Group Accountant will be vital in ensuring that the business is kept up to date with changes to accounting requirements based in the international head office of this FMCG brand based in Hampshire.

Description

As the Senior Group Accountant, you will be responsible for keeping the group accounts up to date with any changes to IFRS accounting standards. You will also be reviewing the company and group statutory accounts, monthly management accounts for global entities, be a key contact for auditors, and as the Senior Group Accountant you will assist other finance departments with technical accounting issues during this exciting period of growth and acquisitions.

Profile

For this Senior Group Accountant role in Hampshire we are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA qualified) who has experience of auditing group accounts at Head Office in line with IFRS, reviewing statutory and consolidated accounts, is up to date with changes to IFRS and has strong Excel skills. Previous experience in the FMCG sector would be advantageous but is not a requirement for this role.
