AUDIT MANAGER - NOTTINGHAMSHIRE - FULL TIME

Accountancy Elite are actively sourcing a strong experienced Audit Manager for a new position that has arisen within a well established firm based in Nottinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional with previous practice experience to join a reputable, forward thinking firm. The ideal candidate will be a well organized individual, able to multi task and prioritize a workload effectively, with strong numerical skills, demonstrate strong management skills and excellent attention to detail.

THE ROLE

·Managing and overseeing the planning, fieldwork and completion of audit or accounts assignments including the supervision of staff involved on your jobs.
·Forming and nurturing client relationships including meetings on commencement and conclusion of the audit.
·Hands on work with a wide portfolio of clients, addressing issues, identifying risk and developing a business partner approach.
·Managing and motivating a team of professional staff, offering support and development as needed
·Acting on opportunities to promote the Firm's service and further develop its client base

SALARY - Negotiable dependant on experience

START DATE - ASAP or happy to wait a notice period

REQUIREMENTS

·Demonstrate knowledge of UK GAAP
·Possess knowledge of auditing techniques gained from previous practice experience
·Possess business development skills, converting opportunities to sell work
·Driving License (e.g client visits)
·Be a "pro active" leader of teams, ensuring team remains motivated and clear of the goal
