Reporting Accountant

Reporting Accountant wanted for Global Insurance Company-Dublin City Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Reporting Accountant for our client based in the City Centre. This is an ideal role for an Accountant from a large practice who has previous experience in working with Insurance Companies and ideally within Solvency II. You will be responsible for working on the month end procedures, assisting in the monthly management accounts pack and ensuring that all statutory accounts and regulatory returns are completed on time This role offers an extremely strong financial package along with Flexible working hours, Bonus, Health-care and Pension Your Role: Responsible for the completion of all month end accounts and journals Play a key role in the production of the monthly Management Accounts within the required time frame Ensure all balance sheet account reconciliations are done on a monthly basis Work closely with the Internal and External Auditors Responsible for assisting with the preparation of regulatory returns and statutory accounts Work on any ad-hoc projects Your Skills: Qualified Accountant with 1+ years PQE Experience working within a practice and within Insurance a bonus IFRS and Solvency II experience an advantage Strong attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multi task and work to tight deadlines Should this position be of interest to you please forward your CV to Tadhg Kearney from Abrivia Recruitment at or alternatively call Tadhg at 01 9052560.
