Commercial Finance Business Partner

Commercial Finance Business Partner; RECRUITERS are working with one of the big players in the telecommunications market. Due to an internal move they are looking to recruit a strong Finance Business Partner to join the commercial team. This is a great opportunity to be involved in analysis and decision making that will shape the strategy within the commercial team. You will have a key relationship with the commercial team and will work closely with them in understanding the key drivers of commercial performance and in the evaluation of commercial initiatives and proposals. Coupled with this you will provide high quality financial support to the department to ensure that the unit achieves their budget objectives. To be considered for interview your background, skills and experience will include: 4-5 years PQE Qualified Accountant Previous managerial experience would be beneficial Experience of preparation of annual budgets Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to influence senior stakeholders Excellent communication and IT Skills Strong commercial awareness An ability to work autonomously On successful hire, you will assume responsibility for: Monthly management accounts and reporting of numerous entities to senior management Participate in cross-functional business projects and strategic initiatives Support the Head of finance and the commercial management team in the budgeting and forecasting process Review and analysis of key business drivers, trends, operating statistics and competitor performance to support decision making and feed into the budgeting and forecasting process Manage 1 PQ accountant Present monthly reports to assist with commercial decisions Assume accountability for delivering a best in class budgeting and forecasting solution to the commercial team Consult and advise senior managers on initiatives to drive high performance The package on offer is made up of a basic of €60k + Pension, VHI, Bonus, holiday Travel Server Scheme, Sports and Social Club.  To hear more about this opportunity or to discuss your suitability, please contact Garrett O'Gorman in confidence on 01 6325028 / 087 164 1130 /
