Assistant Management Accountant - Part Qualified

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Pratap are recruiting an experienced Part Qualified Assistant Management Accountant for a NPO based in Sheffield. Close to the motorway they are commutable from Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster and Worksop.

THE JOB:

Working closely with the Assistant Accountant you will assisting with the day to day finance operations. Duties will include:

Preparation of a monthly P&L and balance sheet with regards to period cut-off
Calculating and entering accruals and prepayments
Checking, coding and entering of employee expenses and supplier invoices onto Iris system
Making online bank payments via online banking system
Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation
Preparation and distribution of daily cash flow
Other ad hoc duties as required

THE PERSON:

Previous experience in a similar role is essential
You will currently be studying towards CIMA or ACCA
You must have strong Excel skills
The ability to prioritise your work load and meet deadlines is essential
