Accountant- School Leaver

Cambridge- Cambridgeshire, A leading regional accountancy practice are looking for an enthusiastic school leaver to join their established and well supported study program in AAT.

Working closely with all staff members you will be joining a firm that are continuing to see consistent growth across Cambridge and eastern region. The firm are regular finalists for a multitude of awards from taxation through to firm of the year with a formal training program in place. The firm are looking to full support the AAT qualification and once qualified you will have the opportunity to further study ACCA/ACA.

The role will support the range of clients the business work with from sole traders through to larger organisations with an international presence, clients range on vicinity and can include agriculture, charities and partnerships therefore enabling a varied and challenging environment as you rotate through accounts, audit and tax departments.

The successful applicant will be currently studying A-levels or completed historically with a view to taking on a career in the accounting field. You will have obtained (or predicted) a minimum of 2 C's at A-level with a B grade at GCSE Maths should the A-level subjects not be in Maths. Excellent communication and an interest in accounting is desirable as you will have the opportunity to further study ACCA/ACA on completion.
