Commercial Finance Manager - Eccles, Manchester - Manchester

IMH Group is a network of over 45 primary care sites across the UK, including GP Practices, Walk-In Centres, and Urgent Care Centres. A newly-created role, this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic Commercial Finance Manager to join a growing business. You will be responsible for preparing timely and accurate financial statements and deputise for the Group Financial Controller when required.



The Role


This is a key role for our business, which will involve:


Production of monthly management accounts and monthly forecasts
Working closely with Regional Managers and the Senior Management team
Providing financial information and insight to assist the Operations team
Annual partnership accounts/tax returns
Producing annual budgets for sites and central departments
In conjunction with the Finance Manager, work with company auditors to ensure the timely completion of the annual audit, statutory accounts and company tax returns
Managing the Assistant Accountant
Producing new site financial due diligence reports for review by the Senior Management team, from the analysis produced by the Assistant Accountant
Introducing new systems/ways of working
Providing monthly P&Ls and backup information to the Operations team and attending monthly meetings
Producing and agreeing completion accounts with the GP partners and their accountants




Skills & Experience


The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or QBE) with experience of working within a multi-site organisation. You'll be technically sound and a natural relationship-builder who can communicate detailed financial matters in simple terms. You'll bring commercial acumen gained in previous roles, along with IT/systems skills and a flexible approach. Keen to challenge the status quo, you'll have experience of developing and improving systems, processes and procedures. Any experience within the healthcare sector would be advantageous.

We're offering a competitive salary of £48-51k per annum (dependent on experience) and the opportunity to join a company which is making a real difference in the world of healthcare. This role is based in our Head Office in Eccles, Manchester, where we have free parking available. Occasional travel to regional meetings and new sites may be required.
