Working for this company will provide you a fantastic springboard for your career as they look to recruit talent who will progress throughout the business over time, and they have a reputation for developing technically highly competent accountantsWe are working with the business to recruit a talented and qualified Finance Manager.In this newly created role, you will oversee two teams, finance and operations, for a key business line.You will be the primary contact for commercial and analytical work, providing comprehensive accounting and decision support services, managing and co-ordinating finance activities including month end, regulatory and statutory reporting, and planning.Other aspects of this post will involve bringing key operational events and risks to the attention of the Board, producing MI analysis to be used by the business, and working closely with other finance teams and departmental heads.To be successful in this post you will need to -Be fully qualified (ie ACA, ACCA, ACMA)Have experience of managing teamsDemonstrate experience of planning and delivering year end audits Show expertise in producing and reviewing statutory accounts to UK GAAP and IFRS Have proven success in a business partnering capacity.On a personal level you will possess the skill to negotiate and confident working with those at a senior level, be analytical with the capabilities to translate to those not from a finance background, have strong leadership skills and commercial in your mindset.To discuss further please contact me directly at natalie.harden@reedglobal.comFind out what you are worth...
