Business Finance Analyst Co. Louth - D004759 We are currently recruiting for a Business Finance Analyst for the Co. Louth area. As the Group enters new markets, the level of investment required in assets and tidal development projects is increasing. Close monitoring and analysis of this spend is required throughout the project lifecycles. The role involves responsibility for preparing the Group budget and ongoing monitoring & reporting on progress against budget including bi-annual reforecasts. The person will work very closely with the business to provide financial support and work with the Business Finance Manager to drive financial control throughout the business. The role involves communication at a senior level within the business and with external partners. Excellent communications skills are, therefore, essential to the role. Location: Role is commutable from North Dublin, Meath, Monaghan, Cavan and Down Requirements: Relevant Level 8 Honours degree plus ACA/CIMA/ACCA with a minimum of four years post qualification experience 4 years post qualification experience of preparing consolidated budgets and reforecasts for a company with a number of subsidiaries, associated and Joint Ventures. Strong and up to date knowledge of accounting standards. Strong Experience of and proficiency in ERP systems - SAP Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and influencing skills. Post Qualification Experience in financial and management reporting. Proficient in Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Responsibilities: Preparation of the consolidated budget for the Group. Note that there are a number of subsidiaries, associates and joint ventures globally. Review of actuals and reforecasts monthly with budget owners and project managers. Preparation of a formal reforecast twice a year - includes consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow. Prepare variance analysis for inclusion in the management reporting pack. Preparation of financial reporting packs to strict reporting deadlines for presentation to internal management and external customers. Identify & implement process improvements to increase the productivity of reporting processes under your responsibility. Deliver key financial messages to managers and project managers to ensure financial targets are met by the business. Ensuring, on an ongoing basis, that there is effective cost control throughout the Business. Providing financial support to project managers, contract managers and country managers. Support the budgeting and reporting of labour utilisation on projects. Identify and implement processes to improve cost control. Assist in financial planning both through updates to the Financial Models and Business Plan Assist in the preparation of grant applications which involves co-ordination of information from all teams within the business.
