We have come to market seeking to strengthen the finance team by securing the services of a professional Commercial Pricing Manager. This role will appeal to qualified financial professionals who have substantial commercial experience, investment assessment capabilities and commercial modelling experience. This role is reporting directly into the Head of Finance of the company. This will be an interesting and challenging role for the successful candidate as the company continues to deliver on its growth plans. Location:           Clonakilty, Co. Cork with travel to other sites Responsibilities: Operate a standardised framework to the creation of commercial proposals across the business to support business growth and investment opportunities Develop financial model for each commercial proposal ensuring the completeness, integrity and accuracy of same Work closely with bid teams to comprehensively cost/ price commercial bids for review by Executive Work with all areas of the organisation (Ops, Finance, IT, Sales etc) to ensure that commercial proposals are accurately assessed and constructively challenged to ensure successful outcomes across the business Be heavily involved in presenting proposal to commercial proposals to management in line with strict governance standards, ensuring that the merits of all proposals are properly discussed and assessed. Project manage the investment appraisal process of considering new business tenders Assist in the preparation and presentation of proposals to client and potential clients.  Whilst Operational Account Management/ Sales Lead will take responsibility for the quality and delivery of any proposal to an existing client, the Commercial Pricing Manager must ensure the commercial robustness of the proposal and will be required to partake in client presentations. Develop and maintain a detailed analysis and understanding of our cost base across our delivery locations in Ireland and in Europe to ensure pricing proposals are well understood and competitive. Work with internal operational delivery teams and management to ensure contracts are operating to optimum staffing models. Provide commercial analysis and commentary on the revenue pipeline and associated metrics and it's transition into revenues at each delivery location Requirements: Demonstrable financial modelling experience and commercial pricing experience, preferably in a service industry Strong commercial acumen Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand the “so what” Results oriented Ability to coach and develop subordinates Qualified accountant an advantage Awareness/ experience of Lean Six Sigma an advantage Creative problem solving capabilities Strong knowledge of staff occupancy models Excellent Excel skills a prerequisite Strong communication and influencing skills Process driven and fast paced, with a strong ability to meet deadlines Self-starter but a good team player with the ability to work dynamically with Sales executives in the field, professional services in house and operations teams alike.
