Financial Controller Job Reference : FC/06/17 Location: Ballynure Job Summary: Job Title: Financial Controller Department: Finance Responsible to : Group Finance Director Job overview The role, reporting to the Group Finance Director, will be to manage the day-to-day running of the finance function whilst providing accurate, relevant and timely financial reporting and provide insight into the variances and trends to the Board of Directors. Key responsibilities Manage financial reporting systems to ensure accuracy and comply with accounting standards Create monthly management and annual financial reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts Report to the Group Finance Director with timely and accurate financial information Analyse and prepare commentary on results, monitoring and analysis of KPI's Manage cash flowDevelop budgets, forecasts and financial plans for the Group Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities Collaborate with external auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations Assist the Group Finance Director in presenting reports to Directors and Senior Management Identify and implement updates and improvements for accounting processes and systems Support individual companies within The Group with financial information and analysis Manage and Develop the finance team Assist in the preparation, analysis and pricing of tenders Drive continuous improvement and lead an effective finance function Assist with major projects such as due diligence, investment appraisal and system enhancement and development Skills and Experience Qualified ACA ideally with experience in Financial Accounting Strong controls knowledge and experience Previous line management experience A strong understanding of financial reporting Advanced Excel skills Package Competitive salary Pension Childcare voucher scheme Paid holidays Company Induction Role specific training Continuous personal development Previous applicants need not apply Strictly no agencies please To apply please click on the APPLY NOW button below to be directed to the companies careers page Closing Date: 8th June 2017 Please note the company operate pre-employment drugs screening testing and any offer of employment made is conditional upon a clear pre-employment drugs screening test.
