Assistant Accountant Co. Armagh £18K - £23K p/a DOE We have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join a leading manufacturing firm at their Co. Armagh site on an initial 18 month contract, beginning summer 2017. You will assist and gain experience in: Journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis. Completing monthly management accounts pack and month-end closing ensuring a high level of accuracy. Maintain fixed assets register. Statutory accounts preparation and returns. Debtors management and reporting. Customer service : provide timely responses to internal and external inquiries. Essential Criteria: Graduate of accountancy or related discipline (economics, business, finance etc). At least 1 year experience within an industry accounting role. Experience in accounts preparation including reconciliations and analysis. Excellent computer experience with significant expertise in excel. Good working knowledge of Sage Accounts. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a busy environment. Experience of an ERP system advantageous.
