In this role you will be responsible for assisting the Finance Team in the preparation of monthly financial accounts, reporting key financial information and monitoring/reporting on all financial control procedures. The successful candidate will ideally have the following experience/qualifications: 2-3 years post qualified as a chartered accountant. ACA, CIMA or CPA Key Responsibilities OVERHEAD MANAGEMENT Preparation of Annual Overhead Budgets Detailed monthly overhead variance analysis, comparison to budget, reporting and liaison with relevant departments Assist the Finance Manager with cost reduction initiatives EXPENSES Responsible for all Expense Ledger procedures BANK CONTROL Preparation of monthly Bank Reconciliations for Sterling and Euro Accounts Reporting of Weekly Cash Return Liaison with Bunzl Plc's Treasury Team to forecast and manage our foreign exchange requirements VAT REPORTING Complete VAT returns for ROI and UK activities. Annual VAT declaration Maintain VAT master files PAYROLL Provide cover for payroll function FIXED ASSET REGISTER Maintenance of the Company's Fixed Asset Register Processing Fixed Asset Additions and Disposals, categorisation thereof and monthly Depreciation calculations If you enjoy being part of a strong team that delivers for the business, please submit an up to date CV via the APPLY button below.
